Description

Caesar's ideal home

Say hello to Caesar! He is an energetic, goofy 4 year old Labrador with tonnes of personality to bring to his new home. Caesar can live with older children (14+) and potentially another dog, but in both cases they will need to be confident and tolerant of a bouncy dog! Caesar is super friendly, and loves to say hello to everyone he meets. However, he is lacking in manners, so his adopter will need to work on his training with him so that he can be more polite when meeting people! As an energetic boy, Caesar will be a fantastic adventure buddy. He is happy to jump into the car to come along on any outdoor excursion. He will need daily walks and different forms of enrichment to keep him both physically and mentally stimulated. Caesar's ideal adopters will be dedicated to the process of getting to know him and helping him settle into his new life. He will need multiple meets here at the Rehoming Centre, and he will need someone at home with him at the beginning until he has settled and leaving time can be built up. We have no doubt that with a patient adopter Caesar will absolutely thrive in his new home and be the best friend anyone could ask for!

Could you be Caesar's perfect match?

Caesar is a loveable lad who just can't wait to meet his special someone! His enthusiasm for life always makes his Canine Carers smile, especially when playing with his toys. He loves to chase tennis balls and throw rope toys around in the air, so his play times are very entertaining to watch! Caesar is also a big foodie, which will be very useful as a motivator in his ongoing training. At the end of a busy day in the life of Caesar, he loves nothing more than curling up for a snooze in his bed, or on the lap of his favourite people. If you think you could be Caesar's perfect match, please place an adoption application through the website and include him as a 'Favourite' dog. Thank you!

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
