Coopa's ideal home

Coopa is a fun loving young Labrador of only a year old. He is a friendly boy who is still practising meeting new people calmly, he find meeting people very exciting and jump up. Being a Lab Coopa loooves his food, he really gets stuck into any enrichment provided and will benefit from receiving his meals in fun ways to help keep his smart mind busy. He will need to be the only animal in his new home, although he is very playful with other dogs, he can become overwhelmed and frustrated at times. He could share his home with children over 16 years old and is looking for active adopters who enjoy long, fun walks and have lots of time to dedicate to him and his ongoing training. A private secure garden of his own is essential, he is a high energy boy and is still working on his training skills. Coopa can be underconfident on his walks and will prefer rural areas away from town centres or other busy areas, he is a good boy in the car so can easily be driven to the perfect walking spots.

A bouncy young Labrador, who came into to the centre due to no fault of his own, Coopa loves being out and about and learning new skills. He will need adopters who are comfortable handling a large, strong dog and who are keen to do some reward based training. He can become easily overwhelmed and shows this by jumping up or humping, our training team will discuss how to help Coopa through these times of anxiety. Still learning doggy etiquette, Coopa will benefit from quieter walks and some ongoing socialisation as he can become frustrated at times. A lovely chap with loads of potential, Coopa will make a wonderful addition to his new forever family.
