Description

Buddy's ideal home

We are looking for a pet-free adult-only home for Buddy that has a secure, private garden and local access to quieter walking locations. His new home will need to have minimal visitors to the household especially whilst he is settling in and training programmes are being put in place. His adopters will need to be happy to continue Buddy's training.

Could you be Buddy's perfect match?

Buddy is a sensitive two-year-old Labrador who needs a home with love and patience. He can find life scary at times and struggles to meet people he doesn't know. Buddy's adopters will need to be willing to spend time building his confidence and taking things at his own pace. Once Buddy knows you, he is a massive love bug! He loves to play with his favourite toys and will do anything for a tasty snack!

With the passing of our mum, Paula, we have come to the very difficult and emotional decision that re-homing the dogs is in their best interests. As of current standing, Finty (1.5 years) is spoken for and headed to her new home last weekend. We are still searching for a lovely home for Jess & Dot, ideally as a pair. They are mother and daughter, and we’d love to keep

  • Age: 5 years

Loki's ideal home We are looking for a quiet home for Loki with adopters who are willing to cater Loki's exercises to areas where she feels more confident. Loki is fearful of large, open spaces and becomes quite overwhelmed in these situations so would prefer to live a more built up area with walks available that are more enclosed and safe, such as woodland or local pathways.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
