We are delighted to confirm that our deep fox red labrador bitch had just had her litter and puppies are now available for reservation from this exceptional mating with Ace, FTCH Craigmaddie Mufasa of Bishopbrae and Rhu, Callanace's Dart of Fire. All pups will be a shade of fox red. 

They will be good for working homes or to have as a family pet. They will leave our care from 14 June 2024.

 Should the timing of collection of the pup interfere with your holiday we can keep the pup for a longer period.  Please ask for details. 

These are extremely well-bred, extensivIely health tested KC Reg Labrador puppies. All puppies will not be affected by PRA, HNPK, EIC, SD2, CNM, STGD and MCD. Both parents have great Hips/Elbows, Sire - hips 3/2, elbows 0, Bitch - hips 7/8, elbows 0, eye tests on both dogs clear and up to date (2023). 

The In-breeding COI 6.6% which is very good.

The pups have been sired by FTCH Craigmaddie Mufasa of Bishopbrae, who was also 3rd in 2023 IGL Championship. He is very well bred and of a large athletic build. He was selected as the Reserve Dog for Scotland at the Game fair in England and was selected to represent Scotland at the Scone Game fair 2021. He was part of the winning team at the KC International Working Test in 2022, part of the Scottish team at the Scottish Game fair, the Game fair and the Welsh Game fair in 2022. He was made up to field Trial Champion in 2022 and qualified for the 2022 Retriever Championship in 2022. He does numerous picking up days in addition to his competitive work. He has a beautiful nature and is brought up in the family home.

Our bitch is very well-bred and has numerous Field Trial Champions in her 5-generation pedigree,  Her Sire's Grandfather is the World Champion Master Hunter dog from the USA, "The Blast's Red Path" and she has many Master Hunters (MH) in her line (USA Title).

This quality working pedigree helps make training so much easier even if you just want a family pet as they will be highly intelligent, also saves on extra training lessons. 

We have her mother as she has such a beautiful gentle nature and is very loving and intelligent, with the pups' Mum being the same. When out working she is fast with a great style and a good scent nose, responding well to the whistle. She is very intelligent and obedient, with a good ‘Off Switch’ when not working. She has great eye contact too. Aside from this she is a very pretty dog with a deep fox red colour coat. She lives in the family home, so is well house trained, being especially gentle with children and an absolute pleasure to own. This is her first litter.

In summary these pups come from parents with 48 FTCHs, 13 FTWs, 6 IGL Champions, 1 x World Champion, 1 National Hunter Champion and 11 MHs (USA Title for Master Hunter) in their 5 generation pedigree. 

The pups are being raised in the family home allowing them to get accustomed to household noises from birth which helps them with basic communication skills they will need in later life. As they are in an environment where they have frequent interaction with humans, they learn to associate and bond with people, making them very well socialised by the time they leave their mum.

They will be used to being handled from birth and playing and interacting till they leave at 8 weeks, hearing a wealth of different noises during their time with Mum. They will be ‘trained to the whistle’ during this time to give you a head start with your training for when you receive your puppy, and they will be partially litter trained.

Once you reserve your puppy you will receive very regular updates with photos and videos of how your puppy is developing to start making that bond with him/her before you receive your new family addition. We will help with advice on what you need to do before your pup comes home and guidance on all things relating to your puppy. You will also get the opportunity to join our WhatsApp group where we help with training and have group training sessions together. 

They will have been regularly wormed every 2 weeks with Drontal from 2 weeks of age and will get a precautionary flee treatment given before they leave.

They will leave our care from 14 June 2024 when they will be 8 weeks old with the following: -

Our requirement is that All puppies MUST go to a good caring and loving home, whether for working or as a family pet. They need to be with an active family. An enormous amount of care and attention has been given to breeding the best quality litter of puppies with all the required health tests being carried out. These are exceptional puppies who deserve this.
