Description

Buster's ideal home

Buster is a handsome 2 year old Boxer cross Labrador. This friendly boy is looking for a quiet home with children aged 12 and over. Buster could potentially live with another dog pending successful introductions at the centre. He would love to have his own garden where he can potter about and continue his training.

Could you be Buster's perfect match?

Buster came into our care as a stray and so his history is unknown. He knows some basic commands and appears to be toilet trained. Buster is a big foodie and has been learning new things here at our centre - he would like to find a family who can continue his training. He loves to go on walkies where he can do lots of sniffing and say hello to other polite dogs. Buster can get overwhelmed by boisterous dogs and will take himself away. Buster loves to be near you and so would like for his family to be around for most of the day, building up how long he is left for over time. He is a big cuddle bug and enjoys a fuss - he will happily jump up on the sofa for snuggles! Buster is a playful boy who loves a ball, he would to find a buddy to play fetch with! Buster is happy to hop into the car to go on adventures, and he settles well when on the move. He would make a great addition to a family! AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
