Description

Arla's ideal home

Arla is looking for an active family to make lots of new memories with, she will require a garden of her own to brush up on her house training skills, this sweet girl was previously found as a stray so will need somebody home most of the time initially to build up her leaving hours, Arla would be suited to living with children 12+ years. Arla is a very exuberant character when it comes to dogs and she could live with another dog pending a successful meet but they would have to match her rough and tumble play style. This intelligent girl is looking for owners who are up for a bit training to continue her basics.

Could you be Arla's perfect match?

Arla lacked a lot of confidence when she first came into our care but has flourished over the past few weeks but it is clear she does have a sensitive side, once she knows you she has the wiggliest bum ever and will never say no to a cuddle. She is forever in the toy box scouting for the perfect one to parade around. She LOVES her food and is an eager student to learn new tricks as we have been working on a twist, spin and chin target just to keep her brain ticking over. When Arla isn't eating, learning tricks or playing with toys she has taken quite the liking to sunbathing right where the sun shines through the window.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
