"Milo" is a 16 month old, male, black labrador for sale, Warwickshire UK. We have had Milo since 8 weeks old, he has been brought up for the first six months with a brother from his litter and in a house hold with two very energetic young boys (6 & 7 yrs old). Due to promotions and mandatory shift changes through the household we are no longer able to give Milo the attention he deserves.
He is not yet neutered. Full vaccinated, flea & worm treated (with medication to cover till May 2025)
He loves long walks in the countryside, playing fetch with the ball and thrower (requires 2 or more balls to trick Milo into dropping the ball that is in his mouth). He is fine off of the lead, solo and has good recall.
Milo has a "Guard dog" personality. He will quietly, pad about the house checking in on everyone/collecting fuss tax. He will check the front window and give a gentle ruff at passers by on the property (postal/delivery workers) and will let you know if there is someone unfamiar on the property vocally.
*FAIR WARNING*
Milo is reactive with other dogs. He does not appear to like them and neither us or other owners, are willing to see if he is just slow to warm to them based on his total personality change and immediate reactions. This has included his litter mate, brother, who was rehomed within the family at six months old, when returning to visit from around the corner.
On walks he will range from total indifference to lunging lunatic when other dogs pass. Its a lottery with no real winners.
Other than that he is a massive softy. He is fully cage/crate trained. Able to be crated for 8 hours/over night. House trained. Loves his cage and his bed. Will react to vocal cues to go to his bed and his cage. Will wait for permissions to enter and to start eating (within reason, I mean, come on, labrador!).
Will come with large, covered cage/crate, large bed, toys, thrower arm, all the remaining foods we have at time of collection (eats a tin of wet food and two scoops dry per day plus water),shampoos, combs, etc.
