Description

Bear's ideal home

Bear is a bright and inquisitive 10-month-old Labradoodle looking for a home that will help him build confidence and continue his training. He would thrive with active owners who enjoy keeping their dog busy—whether that is going for walks, playing with toys, or doing training exercises to keep his mind engaged. Bear is still learning about the world and can be unsure in new situations, so he needs patient owners who will guide him, encourage him and help him feel secure.

Bear needs a calm home without small children, though he can live with teenagers aged 16 and over. He may like to live with another dog having shared his home with one previously. He is working on his loose lead walking and already knows a few commands like "sit," "paw," and "this way." His new family should be prepared to continue his training, helping him develop good manners and build confidence when meeting new people. Bear cannot live with cats or small furries.

Could you be Bear's perfect match?

If you are looking for an intelligent and playful companion, Bear could be the one for you. He loves fuss and attention from people he knows and trusts and will happily curl up on the sofa for a snooze after a busy day. He loves playing with his toys—sometimes on his own, sometimes with you—and is always keen to work for treats, taking them gently.

Bear travels well in the car for short trips, is housetrained, and has a good appetite. While he does need to stay on lead in public and wear a muzzle in stressful situations, these are just small parts of his journey as he grows in confidence. With time, patience, and plenty of positive experiences, Bear will make a fantastic companion for the right family.

Loki's ideal home We are looking for a quiet home for Loki with adopters who are willing to cater Loki's exercises to areas where she feels more confident. Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
