Hugo is a lively and loveable 10-month-old Labrador Retriever who is looking for a family to call his own. As an energetic young dog, he needs to be the only pet in his new home for now, though he enjoys meeting canine friends when out and about. He can live with children aged 12 and above.
Hugo is still learning how to be comfortable when left alone, so his new family should be around for most of the day and willing to slowly build up any time spent apart. With patience and guidance, Hugo will thrive in a secure and nurturing environment that matches his enthusiasm.

Hugo has loads of personality and charm. He adores his toys, whether he is chasing after them, carrying them around or solving food puzzles. His curiosity turns walks into exciting adventures as he loves to sniff and explore new surroundings. He enjoys coming over for affection and cuddles when he is in the mood, but knows when to step away for a bit of quiet time.

Hugo walks well on the lead and while he is still mastering commands like “sit” and “paw,” he is eager to please, motivated by tasty rewards. He is good at the vets - wriggly but copes well provided there are plenty of short breaks. Hugo loves a good grooming session and takes treats ever so gently, making training sessions fun.
