Description

Ace's ideal home

Ace is on the search for his forever home with patient adopters who can continue to help him learn all about the World. Ace would like his family to be around for most of the day whilst he settles into home life. Ace is a Labrador X Mastiff and would prefer adopters who have large breed experience as he can show some puppy behaviours but doesn’t quite know his size. Ace is looking to be the only pet in the home and would like a family who can continue his slow socialisation when out and about. Ace wears a muzzle for his walks and must have a family who will continue this. He can live with older teenagers in the home who are comfortable around large bouncy dogs. He must have a private and secure garden that he can enjoy with his family. Ace is a young boy with so much potential, he just needs to learn about the World and get stuck into training with his forever family.

Could you be Ace's perfect match?

Adorable Ace is a super goof boy who has such a joy for life. He adores fuss from his handlers and engaging in games with toys. He likes a game of fetch but it also happy to play independently by throwing the toys around. With time, he is becoming more foodie and will take the treats gently from your hand. He is quick to make new bonds with people and you are sure to instantly fall in love with him. Ace knows his name, sit, paw down and is positively muzzle trained. He is a wonderful boy who is sure to bring lots of joy to his forever family.

He recently came to us under the impression that he was well-trained, but unfortunately, that's not the case. He needs work on lead training, socialising with other dogs and dog walkers, and he does bark a lot. It's clear he didn't receive the training he needed as a puppy, and while he

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
