Description

Ralph's ideal home

Ralph is a 10-year-old sweetheart with a heart as big as his gentle nature. If you're looking for a relaxed companion who enjoys quiet walks, cosy naps, and plenty of cuddles, Ralph could be your perfect match. He would thrive in a quieter household, where he can enjoy a laid-back lifestyle and could live in a home with pre-school aged children who are gentle and respectful, as he been wonderful with kids in his previous home. Ralph could live with a well-suited dog who shares his easy-going temperament and he also has experience living with cats, so could possibly do so again. Ralph is a food lover, but he has a sensitive tummy and skin, so he’s on a special diet. Adopters will need to ensure he is fed appropriately, and be mindful not to leave unsafe foods unattended... as he will seek it out!

Could you be Ralph's perfect match?

Described similarly in character to ‘Eeyore’ due to his calm demeanour, Ralph is ready to settle into a home where he can relax, receive lots of affection, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Ralph enjoys gentle strolls, taking his time to sniff around and enjoy the world at his own pace. Once he’s had his walk, he’s more than happy to curl up and have a nap, often found snoozing peacefully. Despite his laid-back nature, Ralph also has a playful side! He loves toys and gets quite excited when he’s able to interact with them. Ralph enjoys puzzle toys and finding hidden treats, using his cleverness to work things out.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
