Description

Maya's ideal home

Maya is a 6 year old Labrador cross who is looking for her furever home alongside her little brother Max! This adorable pair are looking for a home with a family aged 12 and above and with no other pets. They would love for their family to be around during the day, so that they can soak up all of their love and attention. Maya's favourite thing to to is play with her ball, but she does enjoy some down time too, settling in a cozy bed for a nap when you are busy. She is such a people dog and gets excited when meeting new friends, however she does really well to ignore them unless she is invited to say hello. Maya loves going on walks where she can sniff about and explore, and would like her family to take her on some fun adventures! Maya will require a private garden for her to play in with at least a 5 foot fence just as she can be an escape artist! Like most dogs Maya can be a bit nervous when at the vet, but she is an absolute star.

Could you be Maya's perfect match?

Maya is a 6 year old Labrador cross who has come from a loving home with her brother Max. She is looking to find a family who will open up their home to both her and her brother Max. Maya is not used to being left alone for long periods of time and so she will require a family who can be around for most of the day until the pair settle in. Maya is used to traveling in the car and will happily hop into the boot. Maya knows some basic training but would love to learn more! AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
